I come from a family of educators. Many of my aunts, uncles, and cousins have taught all over the country. My wife teaches high school English in a nearby district. Our oldest daughter has begun working at a daycare and works with school-agers, and she loves it! I have been teaching since 2015 in the areas of Math, Social Studies, and Career Exploration to students in middle school and high school. I’ve been working in schools since 2009, coaching a variety of sports including football, basketball, and golf, with the privilege of taking multiple trips to state tournaments.
Interesting Fact:
I have had the privilege of coaching five student-athletes who would go on to become college athletes, one who would become an official, and one who would go on to become a coach.
I have had the opportunity to also teach three students who went on to become teachers and numerous others currently in school on track to become teachers in the next few years.
