I have had the opportunity to work with the Advanced Algebra and Pre-Calculus classes this school year. Both classes are currently exploring the exponential and logarithmic functions, along with their practical uses of modeling everyday situations. Exponential functions are used to model population growth, savings accounts, and even plant growth. Students have been surprised to find that, YES, you really might use this in real life!
