Welcome to high school! In English 9, students are using Play-doh to create an object to represent themselves. They will then create a short essay about why they choose the object and how it relates to their lives. Not only is this a way for me to get to know them better, but it also helps me understand what kind of writers they are and where I need to spend more time to help them improve.
