The first-grade students planted marigold seeds today. We will learn what all living things need to survive. The students will observe their plant’s growth daily. We are starting our plant and animal unit in Science. We will learn about the plant and animal life cycle. We will start to research animals learning about their habitat, diet, movement, defenses, and what they look like. The kids will learn to be researchers by doing live research of their animal at the ZOO. The students will then create their own book on their animal. They will also create a digital book.
