I live in Independence with my husband, Mark, who is a mechanical engineer for a toy and children’s products company. We have 2 grown daughters. Holly is the orchestra director at the WACO school district in southeast Iowa. Caroline is in her 4th year of college at South Dakota State, where she is double majoring in music and mechanical engineering. This is my 8th year at East Marshall and my 43rd year of teaching overall.
